First day at 2 miles

This evening I walked/ran just over 2.1 miles, my legs still sore from wednesdays run. I found myself taking it a bit easier on the pace this time but increased the mileage, came in at about 30 minutes. Still absent of knee and ankle pain, a little ankle stiffness but no pain thank heavens. The mileage is set and I’ll work on pace until I get it under 20. Just as breathless on the run portions but no tingling in my hands. Any training tips are greatly appreciated.

First run with good shoes.

This evening I did about a 60/40 walk run of a little more than 1.5 miles and it took me about 20 minutes. My ankle feels pretty good and my knees don’t hurt (they actually feel pretty great), so far so good. Friday I’ll bump it up to 2 miles and work there until I get it under twenty. the goal is 4 miles in under 40 minutes.
